Just had a fabulous stay at Villa Shanti! Spacious, beautifully decorated Terrace Suite with a great coffee machine. Enjoyed delicious à la carte breakfasts and the refreshing prawn salad. Only downside? Limited water daily and felt a bit ignored for our anniversary. Still, a memorable trip!

The place has this lekker colonial charm, rooms super clean and spacious! Loved the food, especially the prawn and pomelo salad. Staff was friendly and made us feel at home.

My experience at Villa Shanti was marred by several issues. the limited daily supply of water was frustrating, especially in the humid climate of Pondicherry. Lastly, I encountered an unpleasant communication with a staff member that left a negative impression on our stay.

Our stay was delightful! The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean. We loved the à la carte breakfast with a variety of local options, making mornings special. The courtyard atmosphere adds to its charm, enhancing our overall experience.

The absence of elevators required us to navigate stairs, which could be a bit challenging at times.

We stayed in the Executive Suite for 3 nights. The room was super comfortable and tastefully furnished, really cozy vibes! The bathroom was nice but just a bit tricky for sharing. Just a heads-up, if you're on the ground floor, you might hear some noise from the restaurant. it was a great place to relax after our day out exploring Pondicherry!

Dining is a highlight here. the food is exceptional, with breakfast options like poached eggs on sourdough and a variety of local dishes. The hotel's atmosphere is enhanced by its buzzing courtyard, creating a vibrant but relaxed environment.

The only downside was the absence of lifts, requiring the use of stairs.

It was just a great match for strolling in Pondicherry with fantastic value for money. The room was spacious with plenty of storage, making our stay comfortable. Bring your own water as the supply is limited daily.
